Update regarding that OC page... its coming along great! coding wise i just need to add custom themes + mobile compatability (which I also need to add here...) and then its time to put a bunch of stuff on there. I want to have some of my worldbuilding backlog on there before it goes live. I dont really want people sitting and waiting for content cause i rushed something out the door... which im prone to do!
But that brings up another question - should my blog be the default page for readers looking for worldbuilding stuff? should the worldbuilding be the default with this blog as the side piece? should i pick the secret third option of a landing page? actually, im leaning towards a landing page... hold that thought...

Currently working on an additional page for characters and artwork so i can blab about my OCs. Getting rather emotional thinking about all the worlds and stories i've created. I really want to make them all real some day.. SO heres a WIP!

I've added a few outgoing links to my main places of posting. If you are really curious about my instagram its @ aardgar over there (named after my fav oc) but aside from that... these are where im active! Decided to link my instagram anyway! in the case of sheezy, want to be more active! I plan to have my own art site some day, but i already have so many ongoing projects it would be ridiculous to start another one...Is it normal to be anxious about not posting art while also not really liking anywhere you do post art??

New videos on youtube!

I posted two new videos on youtube today. One of them is a speedpaint that I've had sitting around for a few weeks, waiting to be edited. The other is my part in a Multiple Animator Project (or MAP), Featuring crowfeather and leafpool. MAP's is the only time I do warriors content these days, although some of my personal projects are very warriors inspired.
I have a few more videos in the works (such as a minecraft building video coming out on monday the 29th) and plan to keep close to my mon/wed upload schedule... At least I'll try! I had some success with it at the start of this year but due to a few situations I fell behind. Oh well, I'll try again next year!

1am, christmas morning, what kind of music do they play? Well, kinda everything. 1960s country, 80s easy listening, 2000s ballads, top 100, im sitting here listening to a 1960s song on my radio (a Panasonic flip clock radio from 1975) while using a 2022 windows tablet. What a strange collection of technology and experiences.

An honest opinion on social media in 2025

I dont like it. The way a lot of it is just short form video content intended to keep you there for hours. Its boring! On top of that, I struggle with depression and it makes it worse. I am honestly considering deleting my instagram account. which would mean deleting all the art I have posted on there. That's where i get nervous. I dont really have a place to post art in a publically accessable way. I want to get back into Sheezy.Art but I fear that, as its not main stream, i will loose a lot of potential audience.
But that in of itself is a problem. Why do I see posting art as an audience building thing? I never plan on being a freelancer artist, I rarely take commissions, so why does it matter if I have the “right” audience? Social media is always putting the pressure on creative people to be as marketable as possible. It’s a shame, because my art suffers the most the more marketable I try to make it. Part of it is also embarrassment, because “why do I have to be different”. It feels cringe, even though I would never feel that way about another artist!.
Ideally, I want to post my art on Sheezy.art, share my thoughts here, and post videos on youtube. I want to spent time online with intention, and have fun! I'm going to fight against those
thoughts of "Oh my art MUSt be X and Y" and make things *I* want to make!
(Honestly if DeviantArt would just revert to how it was pre-eclipse (and get rid of the AI slop) I’d go back there, it was one of my favourite places to post art ever.)

Been playing a lot of tf2 lately, I main engineer. at first i was a total scout main but then i figured out how engineers gadgets work and its been over 12 hours of gameplay for him. compared to sniper, whom i only played for a measly 30 mins before moving onto others. I dont even hate sniper, at this point the gameplay hour contrast (12 hours vs 30 mins) is really funny and makes me want to never play sniper again, just for the ratio. But that said i was watching my little sister play TF2 and she really got into sniper, so maybe ill play him next time.

Is it Its or It's?
Decided to make a simple blog layout, heavily inspired by my blog over on Comic Fury! Most changes are cosmetic, allowing me to experiment with the absolute positioning features. (as you can see, theyre not perfect, but look fine on my tablet)
While I chip away at my primary projects, this blog will be a little thing to have running in the background. Speaking of projects, im toying with an idea for an animated short film featuring a bunch of my cat characters... Stay tuned!
